From the time we are born to the time we depart from this world, we breathe but nobody teaches us how to breathe…except a few. 12 sets (one inhalation and one exhalation is one set) in the morning, 12 sets in the afternoon and 12 sets late evening or 12 sets with 3 repetitions at one time will increase your mental power. For instance, those small ailments like sinus, coughs and cold, memory lapses, headaches, migraines, body aches, allergies, asthmatic attacks, will be cured.

Sit in Sukhasana or on a chair either in namaskara mudra or in dhyana mudra.

Breath in from your nose to your navel chord to the count of 4.

Inflate your stomach as much as possible while breathing in. Breathe in to the count of 4 .

Hold your breath to the count of 4.

Now breathe out slowly through your mouth, deflate your stomach when you breathe out.

While breathing in visualize (psychology has proved beyond doubt that visualization and affirmation has a deep impact on our body) a white light penetrating through your nostrils and while holding the breath visualize that the white light is cleansing your whole body. While breathing out, visualize that all your toxins, garbage, and negativity flows out of our body to the mother earth. Hold your breath to the count of 4.

(1st 12 sets, while breathing-in visualize white light, 2nd 12 sets, while breathing-in visualize violet light, 3rd 12 sets, while breathing-in visualize purple light)

Important : Never inhale through your mouth and if you are a BP or a Heart patient, please consult a medical practitioner before doing it. The breathing exercise should not be performed with a full stomach or in extreme heat or in  dusty/smoky areas.
